TAWOPANEH DEVELOPMENT ALLIANCE (TDA) — 2026 AGRICULTURAL JOURNEY
FROM
VISION TO ACTION — WE HAVE STARTED!
2026 marks
the beginning of a new and exciting chapter for Tawopaneh Development Alliance
(TDA) as we officially commence our agricultural activities in Robehneh
Village, Munu Thallah Chiefdom, Kambia District, Sierra Leone.
THE JOURNEY HAS BEGUN!
We have
commenced mechanised land preparation and ploughing on two of our farm lands,
using a tractor to ensure faster, more efficient and effective preparation of
the land for cultivation.
OUR 2026 CROPS INCLUDE:
• Rice
• Watermelon
• Cassava
• Benin
• Sorghum
This is only
the beginning of our agricultural journey. Our ambition is to gradually expand
our farming activities, increase food production and create meaningful
opportunities for the surrounding communities.
THIS IS MORE THAN FARMING.
It is about
food security, poverty reduction, job creation, youth and women empowerment,
community development and improving rural livelihoods.
It is about
turning available land into productive opportunities and demonstrating what can
be achieved when vision, commitment, hard work and the right partnerships come
together.
WE ARE ABOUT TO MAKE HISTORY!
The land is
being prepared.
The vision is becoming reality.
The foundation is being laid.
And the journey has officially begun.
From
Robehneh Village in Kambia District, TDA is planting more than crops—we are
planting the seeds of hope, opportunity and a better future.
TDA 2026: PLANTING TODAY, FEEDING TOMORROW.
